Spring is the time when volleyball completions are approaching their final phase. Awaiting the athletes of Plus liga are two final rounds of the main season. In the first league the playoffs have already started. The reaming leagues are also entering the final straight in deciding end of season results. The end of the league season means the beginning of the international season. This year’s international season is set to be exceptionally exciting: June and the begging of July is set aside for the World League. Our national team is going to face some very strong completions: Iran, Italy and Brazil. The best volleyball players will be present in Poland as on the third weekend of competition: 16-18 June. The final is schedules for 4-8- July. In August (11-13) in Kraków traditional Memoriał Jerzego Wagnera game will take place. The Poles will play Russia, France and Canada.
Two weeks later (24.08.2017) The Eurovolley 2017 tournament – European Volleyball Championship – begins. The group phase played in Gdansk (where our national team will play), Katowice, Krakow and Szczecin between 24-28 August. The play-off phase (30.08.2017) and the quarterfinal (31.08.2017) will be held by Krakow and Katowice, and the final match of the tournament will be played in Krakow on 2 and 3 of September 2017.
